Summer is such a fun time to entertain because it’s a more laid back, casual time of the year. Setting a fun and easy table makes it fun for your guests and creates a fun atmosphere when there’s a little theme involved. You know, the type where you don’t have to go buy a lot of things and just use what you have and do-it-yourself? Here are two fresh alternatives using the same dishes, and place settings. All I did was switch out the decor.
Celebrating New Years day with a dinner to toast in the new year… and bring a little luck with our black eyed peas! Considering the many milestones in our forefront this year, we can use all the luck we can get! So we toast in 2015 and pray for health, happiness and the strength to face some big changes this year. This has been a weird, unexpected and unprepared transition for us, but everyone must go through it, so time to start fighting it and learn to move ahead. Stage 3, here we come!
For the invitation I selected vintage style paper and put it together adding a paper doilie for a lace look and tied it together with some vintage ribbon
